Rainy cookout

Since Whitney and Randi have tied the bit knot, we have a few weekends here and there to hang out. Rather than heading out to dinner we decided to have them over for a cookout. The cookout also turned it to a play date for the pups. Sadly the weather did not cooperate with our outside dining. The menu consisted of berry salad, make our own kabobs (chicken, steak, or shrimp), and home made ice cream (thanks Whitney and Randi). Hopefully we can do the cook out again with nicer weather!

Holland here we come!

Korey, Killian, and I made a trip down to Holland this weekend. We were able to meet this little man on our way through Huntingburg.

Parker Daniel Steckler

What a cutie! Ben and Korey have called each other "tuba" since grade school. I know it is silly, don't ask why. As soon as Parker was born we knew we had to get him a "little tuba" shirt.

It was a real hit! We were able to spend the evening enjoying the little one. Hopefully we can get down to see him again.

We then headed over to Holland to see the family. The rest of the weekend was full of fun and family! Korey helped Doug install some speakers in his car, while Kathy and I assembled their gazebo. Saturday night the Kahle clan came over for dinner. It was so nice to see the kiddos.
