SURPRISE!

Last night I planned a surprise belated birthday party for Korey. I had to be pretty sneaky, but with the help of everyone we really surprised him. Lots of food, fun, and friends. Thank you to everyone for helping us celebrate!

Happy Easter!

For Easter we headed down to Holland for food, fun, and family. The weekend started with a yummy dinner and Dana and Kenny's (Korey's Aunt and Uncle). Saturday the ladies went to get measured for Kristen's Bridesmaid dresses, and the men went and did some shopping. We ended up meeting at Walmart to finish up our Easter shopping. Sunday morning Kathy had planned an Easter scavenger hunt. Killian even helped. We got some great gifts in our Easter baskets. We then headed to church and then lunch and Nanny and Poppy Kahle's. As usual the weekend went too fast! Here are some of the pictures we took!

Korey's Trip to Colorado

Korey, Andrew, Matt, Kevin, and John all headed to Colorado for a mini "Spring Break". They stayed in an amazing condo in Frisco and hit up several of the mountains. Overall, they had a great time, but I think they needed a vacation to rest from all of the snowboarding/skiing. Here are some of the amazing pictures.

Star of the Week.

Last week I was the Star of the week in Kindergarten. This consisted of sharing pictures, a mystery sharing, sharing my favorite book, busy bees - hobby day, teddy bear journal, and an all about me book. It was really fun showing the kiddos about my life. Here are a couple of the highlights.

Korey turns 25... a quarter of a century

Today Korey turns 25, a quarter of a century. This was quite a big birthday, and I wanted to make sure it was perfect. The day started off very early at 6:00am. I wanted to get up to decorate and make breakfast. So, Korey was held hostage upstairs in our room until I was done. I might have gone a little over board with the decorations, but they were all so cute! The birthday breakfast was blueberry waffles with candles! He then opened his presents. We then had birthday cake. I know you are saying who has cake at 7:00 in the morning. Well, Korey was leaving for Colorado in the afternoon, and this was the only time we could do it before he left. Overall it was a wonderful morning, and I know that his birthday celebration will go on for weeks.

Korey's pre-birthday

Since Korey's birthday is rapidly approaching my parents and Michael wanted to take Korey out to celebrate. We decided on Sullivan's for some amazing steaks. We had a great time and it was a wonderful start to the birthday celebration.

The Partenheimer's visit!

Doug, Kathy and Kristen made a trip up to Indy for the weekend. It was so nice having them here. We did a little wedding shopping, ate at the Cheesecake Factory (YUMMY!), Celebrated Doug and Korey's birthday, found patio furniture we love, and watched some movies. The weekend went entirely too fast, but we really enjoyed the time we had. Here are some pictures from the weekend.
