IU Homecoming

This weekend we made the trek down to Bloomington for homecoming. Since neither of us did the "big" college thing, we take advantage of living in that life for a day or two whenever we can. Andrew and Emily were nice enough to invite us and offer up their guest room. The weekend started off by visiting with my bestest, Lauren, and her boyfriend Jon. We had a great time at Scotty's Brewhouse with both great food and conversation. It was so nice to catch up. Even though we do not get to talk as much as we did, it seems like nothing has changed. Saturday morning, we made our way to the stadium to tailgate and take in the "experience". Emily's best friend, Sarah, and her family were hosting the tailgate for Sarah's sister, Suzy. Suzy and her boyfriend (now fiancee) were engaged that morning, so the tailgate was a celebration in honor of them. They were nice enough to let us partake in the food and entertainment. Thank you!! We "roamed" to visit some other tailgates, the most exciting part was seeing Heather aka. the Heathe, along with Amanda. I have not seen either in forever and it was so nice to hang out with these 2 lovely ladies. After the game, (which IU won!!) we went back to Andrew and Emily's where we "dethawed", played the wii, listened to some college songs, and made up new card games. What a fun weekend we had, and we can't wait to do it again!

Christmas photoshoot

With Christmas card season rapidly approaching, I asked a fellow teacher/photographer to take a few shots of the family and I. We started in my parent's backyard and then headed to a nearby park to take the rest. Killian was crazy as usual, but we did get a few good ones. Here are my favorites.

Walking Adventures

We try to take as many walks and be outside while the weather is "nice". As you know in Indiana the weather changes from one minute to another. Here are some pictures from our walking adventures.
