Khloe turns one!

Little Miss. Khloe turned the big one on December 29th. She had an Abby Cadabby themed party which was quite fitting. The party took place at the Holland United Methodist church. The menu consisted of a dozen yummy soups, ham, and of course cake and ice cream. I love it when little kids smash the cake all over their faces. Khloe did just that it took her a bit, but she had is everywhere. She also received tons of presents and insisted on putting everything on her head. We had a blast...Happy Birthday Khloe :)

Crandall and Partenheimer Christmas

We were lucky enough to be able to spend Christmas with both of our families. Everyone was so accommodating and understanding and allowing us to celebrate the holiday for a entire week. At the Crandall household we had our traditional Christmas morning breakfast, and began opening gifts. Later in the afternoon we headed over to the Danquist's for some more amazing food and gifts. The next morning we headed down to Holland to celebrate with the Partenheimers. As usual we had some amazing food and desserts and received some wonderful gifts. I did not nearly enough pictures, but here are some of the highlights.

Too many presents..

The gift was wrapped in a soda box (he loves to destroy them) and he then got is stuck on his head.

Our First Christmas

Well if you didn't know we have connections with Santa, so he came to visit us last night. He knew we had a lot going on the next few days and it would be less stressful is we opened presents on Christmas Eve. Anyways, did all the traditional Christmas stuff today. Santa brought us all some pretty cool things. The favorites are: slipper socks for Kelly, a new alarm clock for Korey and some squeaky toys for Killian. We then moved over to the tree to open the gift from each other. Kelly received a new coat, hair straightener, and a coach wallet. Korey received some new jeans, a new sweater, and a Sony digital reader. Killian received a HUGE raw hide and a GIGANTIC rope ball. To conclude the morning we had Breakfast Strada (thanks mom) and enjoyed our new goodies. Overall this was a great 1st Christmas and it has only just begun.

Getting in the Holiday Spirit

Today Korey and I did some Holiday baking to prepare for Christmas. We made sugar cookies with dip icing and chocolate covered pretzels. Korey claimed he have never cut out sugar cookies so he was pretty excited. Of course, we did it all while listening to Christmas music. Hopefully they will be a big hit!

Christmas came a little early...

Korey and I could not wait to give Killian his presents, I know pathetic. So today we let him open one. He loved it. It took him about a half hour to get the paper off, I think he liked the paper maybe more than the gift. Oh well. The gift was a green rubber bone which claims to be indestructible (we'll see). Only 8 more days till Christmas!!

What is it?
Trying to open it
Almost done!
He loves it!!

Charly's Angels

Today Charly had her AMAZING Bachelorette party planned by her wonderful sister, Alex. We started off at John and Andy's beautiful house (Charly and Alex's parents). Alex and her mom made a ton of yummy food we had pork lettuce wraps, crab dip, and so many cookies! Charly got many "interesting gifts" (no worries Charly I will only post the PG ones). After the festivities we made our way to 4th street by way of Aztec limo company. All the Bridesmaids wore lime green shirts and were labled "Charly's Angles". First stop Howl at the Moon. It was all started my Chad's mom, Shelia, buying us all Purple Hooters (Thanks Shelia!!). Charly did get to hop up on stage for a song and Alex dazzled us with her rendition of "Summer Nights". Then we headed over to Sully's for beer races, and lots of dancing. Final stop Saddle Ridge where there were hats galore! I had a blast!! Thanks everyone for all of the fun time. Here are a few snap shots from the evening all PG ;)
